A Dream Being Realized: Relate 360

Saturday, February 28, 2015

As I sit down to write this I don't even have a post title yet.  Things have been happening and dreams have been coming true (I think these OUAT episodes with Tinker bell are rubbing off on me o_O) and honestly my brain is still in a little bit of a jumble!

Big things, you ask.  What big things?

Well.

Guess what?

I'm writing for a blog.  More specifically, I'm writing for a professional organization's blog.

TIME TO PANIC NOW!

If you've followed my blog for awhile (bless you!) you'll know that I'm everything BUT professional.  *cough*  I use ten exclamation points every other sentence, speak in all caps, sprinkle gifs sporadically through the post, and- need I continue?

The really really cool thing is that while the site itself is a lot more official than mine, I still get to write almost exactly like I would on here. They're even letting me use the occasional gif.

They might regret that one.

The blog I'm writing for is called Relate 360, and at the most basic level it's a student-focused organization that goes to different school to talk to students about healthy relationships.

On the blog we'll have a variety of posts for the teens who want to learn more after they've heard the speakers at their school, so there are interviews, advice, stories, answers to questions (what if I fail? what if I'm single?), and so much more!!!!

Taking writing more professionally has been a special heart-dream of mine for a really long time, and I never knew what God would do with it.
He's really starting to open my eyes to the extent of his creativity!!

I would LOVE for y'all to go check out the site (like seriously.  go.  now.) OH and let me know in the comments!  Where have you seen God obviously working in your life?

Schooch on over to Relate 360 here:

This website also sounds amazing so I'll be checking it out now, seeing as I qualify as a teen in need of advice. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!! I never realised that blogging could be a profession, never thought about it, and it's amazing that you've found a profession in something so loved.

And as for you writing -you have major skills! I love the way you write. Every time I read your posts, I feel like you are actually a real person. Not that all us bloggers aren't real people, but I like how you write as if you're talking to your readers like old dear friends (hopefully that makes sense). :)
God is using your gift in so many amazing beautiful ways! I can't wait to see what he has in store for you. <3
