We're interrupting our regular forecasting to bring you someone very wise, very sweet, and very talented. Dance along with me as we welcome blogger Sayda Jaycee!!
I can't wait for y'all to meet her (she already wins because of her name. I just love it!)
What is your favorite thing to have with you for photo shoots? Beside my camera... I like to take a notebook with me to record the times of day when the lighting is perfect. And also to make notes and look back on them to see how I can improve. I also write down some photo ideas and inspiration--drawing pictures and writing poems. That sounds kind of strange, but that's how I find some of my photo inspiration.
First three favorite books that come to mind: Favorite books: The Book Thief, Harry Potter, The Hunger Game series. Hands down. :)
If you could let your readers know one thing what would it be? I appear to have a very unfortunate life and health. And in some words, I do. But, one thing that I'd love for everyone in this whole world to know, even, is that I have a God Who heals and Who saves. And it doesn't get much better than that. Dealing with chronic pain and other illnesses hands me pity from many people. But what I want my readers to know is that I am functioning only because of my Savior Jesus. And I couldn't even be breathing still without Him.
Favorite topic to blog about? Probably how the Lord has used my story to inspire people. I also love blogging about real, raw stuff that people deal with: anxiety, health, depression, failure, family, school. I find that instead of hiding behind my computer screen, I can actually show people who I am, but only through Christ.
Favorite post you've written? I would have to say, "The Glorification of Perfection." That post is very short, raw, and not super sugar-coated. I talk about how I am such a mess in this life. I am a disaster of emotions, pain, and tears. But then I turn around and glorify people who appear perfect--who appear busy and important. It's a very simplistic post, so I also like it because it's not long. And there's one picture. :) See the post here!
Early bird or night owl? Boy, that's an easy one. Night Owl for sure. I can stay up super late... as long as I get to sleep in the next morning!
One 2015 goal? To know and respect my physical, emotional, and mental limitations, apply them accordingly, and then to accept and enjoy them to the best of my abilities.
