The 3 Natural Face Products I Swear By

Thursday, October 23, 2014

My nightly face routine is one of the best ways for me to just slow down and relax after a long day (although Facebook comes close).  Granted, smelling like apple cider vinegar for an hour afterwards is not as relaxing as you might imagine (shocker!) but I do like feeling all the grit from the day getting washed off my face.

These are three products I use every night, without fail, that I love, and thought I'd share with you.
*the opinions and pictures expressed in this post are solely my own*

#1: Apple Cinder Vinegar: For Acne

This may look like a fancy little bottle with some sort of brew that was probably made in a cauldron, but you can really keep it in anything and I'm betting you have these ingredients already in your cupboard.  All you need is Apple Cider Vinegar + a little water so it doesn't sting so badly, and voila!  Clear skin!

I understand if you're doubtful.  I was too, especially when I smelled it.  But it's really amazing how little acne I have.  Both of my parents got the acne phase pretty badly, and they were expecting me to hit it during my teens.  I'm almost sixteen and I'm still acne-free.  Luck? Maybe.  But I can sure tell you that after skipping a week of my Apple Cider Vinegar, acne was already popping up like crazy.
To use: Take a little and squirt it on a cotton ball, and then rub it all over your face.  Get around your nose and in between your eyebrows especially hard.
Just try it for a week, and if you don't see any difference you can sue me.  Or whatever.

#2: Vaseline: Natural Eye Makeup Remover

I love using Vaseline for two big reasons; one, because it's natural and healthy for your eyes, and two, because not only does it get your makeup off, but it inadvertently helps you get longer, fuller eyelashes!  Just spread a little on your eyes, and then gently wipe away your makeup with a piece of toilet paper.

Another favorite product of mine that I don't have pictures of are Cucumber-scented wipes from Walmart.  I know, I know, not the fanciest title ever, but they smell so FRESH and they work wonders! My roommate at the Worldview camp I went to this summer let me borrow some, and I was sold.

#3: Burt's Bees Face Wash

Not only does this face wash smell like fresh daisies, but it says things like "Soap bark and Chamomile" on the front of it.  How can you not help but feel clean after reading that?
Burt's Bees Face Wash is %100 natural and %100 wonderful.

And there you have it!  My 3 Favorite Natural Face Products that I will always swear by.  So what about you all?  I know we all do our "thangs" for our face.  What do you like to use?

    1. Same here! I could never afford their packages of lip products (yes, I'm broke) but the face wash is a little cheaper. I'm all about the cheap! :)
