Good morning!  I'm happy to say that this is my first post of the month!! 
Lots has happened this past week, and before I get into my list I thought I'd share it with y'all. 
Happy news: I got my Learner's Permit!  Before I took it I was so nervous.  Like, ridiculously nervous.  We had to wait for a half an hour, and I hadn't brought a book or anything to do.  So I was forced to sit there and imagine the terrible questions they might make me answer.  Had I studied enough?  Should I read the manual more?  Did those practice tests REALLY help or was I just wasting my time?  What if I failed?  What if I passed?

Thankfully, after over-thinking and over-stressing for a half an hour I took the test and passed.  :)  What was I worried about, again??
Now here's the really scary part: actually driving.  I've done it twice out on the country roads in Iowa, but never in actual city streets or highways.  Scary thought.  I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it!  (no pun intended)

So.  Athletic shorts.  MY NEW FAVORITE THING!  First it was smoothies, now it's these.  They're comfy, they're cute, and they go with everything.  What other reasons do you need???  I've thought of some and then you comment below and tell me if I've missed any!

1. They're comfy.  Probably the biggest quirk in my opinion.  I love jean shorts, and jeans, and capris, and all those things.  But they aren't nearly as comfortable as my athletic shorts!  I can jump on the trampoline, bake, clean, lounge around the house, and exercise in these and Ill still be comfortable.  What else could you want?
2. You can go anywhere in them and nobody will think twice(except for maybe prom. Or a wedding.  But other then that!)  Pajama pants- you just can't do that!  Yoga pants are better.  But athletic shorts?  I spent the entire day in athletic shorts yesterday, from playing volleyball to going to Target to getting Wendy's, and I'm prepared to do it again today!
3. THEY'RE CUTE!  Need I say more? Some have chevron, some have hot pink and black, some have zebra.... So many choices!  :)
4. They're versatile.  Throw on a t-shirt and shorts and they look great together. 
5. You can never have too many!  But isn't that one obvious?
6. There's a huge range of prices for whatever you're looking for.  If you want some to just hang around the house in, you can get them pretty cheap.  But if you're looking for nicer ones, like Nike, then they have those too!
