major cuteness

Cutest Picture Ever

I'm about to show you the cutest picture ever.  Are you ready for overwhelming cuteness?  Here goes....

*aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*!!!!!  This is just so ridiculously cute!  The longer you look at it, the cuter it gets,  no lie!
This afternoon Savanna Dewolf and I got together to work on story stuffs for summer workshop (which I am majorly excited for!) and to write for fun.  This is the picture we chose to write about!  Here's what I came up with....

"Alright, Octi, you can go first!" A kindly old craken used her tentacles to steer the excited octopus towards his goal.
With a few squeaks and popping air bubbles, Octi flopped his tentacles and began to sink.
"Oh-no, dear," His teacher quickly swam under him and pushed him back up to the shallower waters.  "Remember what we learned?"

Octi let out a few air bubbles and nodded.  Carefully wiggling one tentacle, and then another, he began to swim down towards the miniature ship.
"That's it! His teacher called encouragingly as the rest of the class watched, wide-eyed.
Concentrating on the ship, the little octopus sank down until he was right above it.  Then, spreading his tentacles wide, and sticking out his tongue for good measure, he latched on and pulled.
To his surprise, no matter how much pulling or head butting he did worked.  He popped a few more bubbles and hung there, unsure of what to do.

From high above him he heard his teacher's voice- but it sounded so far away!
Where was Mummy?  And Daddy?  And his teacher?  He began to thrash around and squeak, choking as the bottom of the sea got stirred around him.  He couldn't see- his tentcales were caught, he was trapped- And then he felt himself being pulled, up and out of the murky water, until finally he reached the top.
He gasped and began squeaking as he felt the clear water settle around him.  He could breath again.

His teacher looked out of breath.  "That will be enough today, dears," She said, using her tentacle to push her glasses up higher.  "You may go home now."
Octi squeaked his thanks and then flopped home, a trail of bubbles following behind.
He could always try again tomorrow.
